Dinner just got easier! Today’s meal idea is comfort food that the whole family will enjoy.
The best part is, this Slow Cooker/Crockpot Creamy Ranch Chicken comes together with simple ingredients you may already have in your kitchen.
It’s definitely a family favorite in our home so I keep this set-it-and-forget-it dinner on our menu rotation.

Creamy Ranch Chicken Ingredients
- 3 chicken breasts cut in halves
- 5 russet potatoes cut into chunks
- 2 cups baby carrots
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1 can (family size) of cream of chicken soup
- ½ cup milk
- salt & pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley (optional)
How to Make Creamy Ranch Chicken In A Slow Cooker
Step 1: Grease the bottom of a 6-quart slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Step 2: Begin layering ingredients with potatoes, carrots, and chicken on top. Season everything with a little salt and pepper.

Step 3: In a medium size bowl, add cream of chicken soup, ranch packet, and milk. Whisk together until combined.

Step 4: Pour creamy mixture over chicken. Cook on high for 5-6 hours or on low for 7-8 hour.

Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or with dinner rolls.
