I’ve always seen linen sprays on store shelves and thought it was a waste of time and money until now.
There are two reasons you need this spray in your home:
#1 When you want to freshen up
Using a linen spray on your pillows, sheets, blankets, and curtains will help you go a little longer between washes. The essential oils we’re using in this recipe fight against germs and bacteria.
#2 When you want a good sleep
There’s a reason essential oils are used for aromatherapy. They can help reduce stress, anxiety, insomnia, muscle aches, and more. So when you spray your bedding before bed, you’ll probably sleep like a baby.
How to Make Linen Spray
This homemade lavender linen spray is cheaper than store-bought linen sprays and also cheaper than doing laundry just to freshen things up.
- 2 cups distilled water
- 14 drops lavender essential oils
- 8 drops tea tree essential oils
- 4 drops lemon essential oil
- 1 tablespoon witch hazel
You’ll also need:
- 16 oz spray bottle
- Funnel or measuring cup (optional)
- Combine water, all essential oils, and witch hazel in the glass bottle.
- Attach spray nozzle and shake well.
To use, shake well. Then, spritz linen, blankets, pillows, curtains, etc. with lavender spray as desired.
